Fault Trace Identification, Nelson and Tasman (2001/02/05/06) and Marlborough (2007/08/09)
Desktop analysis, geologic reconnaissance mapping and selective test pitting techniques were used to identify (where possible) the precise location of potentially active traces of the Flaxmore and Waimea Faults in Nelson and Tasman District and to evaluate setback from the active Alpine Fault in St Arnaud and Renwick.
